A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Second Shift Custodian 2 PM- 10 pm Perform custodial work required for the routine care, maintenance, protection of and presentation of the assigned building, its content and surrounding grounds. Routine building checks on weekends required (on staff rotation basis) Conscientious, willingness to work and assume responsibility, as well as develop and improve his/her efficiency. Demonstrate the ability to organize, perform minor repairs, and a willingness to work with others Computer skills required Must be proficient in oral and written communications Demonstrates a sincere desire to aid all students Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs, and life frequently
