A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Basic Job Functions:
Cleaning of all office/plant common areas, bathrooms, locker rooms, and dining areas to include: Dusting, Sanitizing, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, trash removal, and as needed: bail card board, empty Trash dumpsters in plant, Run floor scrubber in production areas, shovel/ salt walk ways when ice or snow. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma Preferred Qualifications:
