The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming environment for children, families, and staff while ensuring all sanitation practices align with Indiana state childcare licensing standards. Position Overview The Preschool Cleaner plays a vital role in supporting the health and safety of our schools by maintaining high cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout classrooms, restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas. Schedule Full-Time Monday-Friday Majority of hours based at Fishers campus Responsibilities Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and common areas Disinfect high-touch surfaces throughout the day Follow Indiana childcare sanitation and health regulations Handle trash removal and recycling Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain floors Restock cleaning and hygiene supplies Support classroom teams with maintaining a safe and orderly environment Ensure cleaning products are properly stored according to safety guidelines Assist with deep cleaning projects during school breaks or special events Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly Qualifications Previous professional cleaning, custodial, or childcare facility experience preferred Ability to work independently and efficiently Reliable transportation between locations Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Professional and positive attitude Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and remain active throughout the shift Must pass all required state background screenings Must comply with Indiana childcare licensing requirements What We Offer Full-time stable employment Supportive leadership team Positive and family-focused environment Opportunity to grow within a growing preschool organization Competitive pay based on experience Paid training and onboarding If you are passionate about creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for young children and families, we would love to hear from you.
