Job Overview Monday-Friday / 3pm-11:30pm We are seeking a motivated Second Shift General Cleaner with EMS expertise to join our team in Greencastle, IN 46135. This energetic role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities during the evening hours, utilizing professional cleaning equipment and adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to uphold high standards of cleanliness Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers for optimal floor care and sanitation Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to ensure a secure environment Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling tasks while practicing safe lifting techniques to prevent injuries Maintain facilities by performing custodial tasks, minor repairs, and supporting general maintenance activities Follow strict safety protocols during all cleaning operations to promote a safe workplace for yourself and others Document completed tasks accurately and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly Skills Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services with a focus on floor buffing and sanitation Knowledge of chemical agent handling safety procedures and proper use of cleaning equipment Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude toward clients and team members Familiarity with facilities maintenance, including minor repairs and general upkeep tasks Experience with residential painting or porter duties is a plus but not required Excellent understanding of safety protocol adherence and sanitation standards in a commercial setting Join us in delivering exceptional cleanliness and safety standards!
