Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to uphold high cleanliness standards. Handle and apply floor cleaning chemicals safely during floor scrubbing, waxing, buffing, and refinishing to restore floors' appearance and durability. Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, polishers, carpet extractors, and other janitorial tools efficiently and safely. Conduct specialized floor care procedures including floor buffing, waxing, refinishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain optimal flooring conditions. Manage chemical agent handling with strict adherence to safety protocols while using appropriate personal protective equipment. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving cleaning supplies or equipment to ensure efficient workflow. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, chemical usage, and equipment maintenance for accountability and safety compliance. Skills Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services with a focus on environmental safety practices. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques such as scrubbing, waxing, buffing, and refinishing. Ability to handle cleaning chemicals responsibly while understanding their proper application and safety measures. Skilled in operating various cleaning equipment including floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and carpet extractors. Excellent manual handling skills with the physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking. Exceptional customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. Familiarity with janitorial procedures, custodial standards, and environmental services best practices. Pay:
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour Application Question(s): Can you confirm you're available Monday through Friday every week, with reliable transportation to Highland, Indiana?
