Janitorial Worker Job Overview:

LGC Hospitality Staffing is hiring dependable Janitorial Workers to support healthcare facilities, senior living communities, educational institutions, commercial buildings, and hospitality venues. This is a temporary, on-call position ideal for individuals who are reliable, detail oriented, and can work efficiently in structured, fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing assigned areas, removing waste, restocking supplies, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment while representing LGC at client locations. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, hallways, classrooms, patient areas, and other assigned spaces Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect floors and surfaces Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners Restock paper products, soap, sanitizing supplies, and other janitorial essentials Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces according to client standards Safely operate janitorial equipment and properly use cleaning chemicals Follow all safety, sanitation, infection control, and client-specific procedures Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to supervisors Assist with setup and cleanup for events, meetings, or facility operations when needed Arrive on time, in proper uniform, and ready to work Work Environments Hospitals and healthcare facilities Senior living communities Assisted living facilities Schools and educational institutions Commercial offices and facilities Hotels and hospitality venues Requirements Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, EVS, or commercial cleaning experience preferred Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs throughout the shift Ability to work efficiently in structured, high-volume environments Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines Reliable transportation to various job sites Flexible schedule (early mornings, daytime shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed) Professional appearance and dependable attendance What We Offer Flexible scheduling — work as much or as little as you want Weekly pay Opportunity to work across healthcare, education, hospitality, and commercial facilities Fast hiring process Ongoing work opportunities based on performance About LGC Hospitality Staffing We connect dependable, hardworking individuals with leading healthcare, senior living, education, and hospitality organizations.
