Job Overview Saturday-Sunday / 9am-1pm We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Weekend Cleaner with EMS to join our team in Indianapolis, IN 46241. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities during weekend shifts. Your efforts will ensure a safe, hygienic environment that meets our high standards for quality and safety. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers. Handle chemical agents safely while performing sanitation tasks, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures. Conduct custodial duties including dusting, trash removal, window cleaning, and surface disinfecting to uphold cleanliness standards. Operate cleaning machinery and tools efficiently while following safety protocol adherence to prevent accidents. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting issues requiring professional attention. Follow heavy lifting and safe lifting practices when moving furniture or equipment to prevent injuries. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and supply usage for accountability and quality assurance. Qualifications Previous janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation procedures, and the use of cleaning equipment including floor buffers is highly desirable. Ability to handle chemical agents safely with understanding of chemical handling safety procedures. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly throughout shifts.
