A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking to additional reliable and detail-oriented cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of our vacation/corporate properties between guest stays. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, an eye for detail, and understands the importance of a welcoming environment for guests and the ability to deliver 5 star experience every time.

Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize all areas of the property, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living spaces. Change and launder bed linens and towels. Replenish basic amenities (toilet paper, soap, shampoo, etc.). Check for and report damages or missing items after each guest. Ensure the property is staged and presented attractively for the next guest. Follow a cleaning checklist to meet cleanliness standards. Communicate with the host regarding scheduling, inventory needs, or any issues. Maintain security by locking all doors/windows upon departure.

Requirements:

Previous cleaning experience (Airbnb or hotel cleaning preferred). High attention to detail and consistency. Reliable transportation and punctuality. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed. Must have a smartphone for communication and checklist updates. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Basic knowledge of English (for communication and instructions). Receptive to feedback and correction

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with short-term rental turnovers. Familiarity with vacation/ corporate cleaning protocols. Ability to perform light maintenance or notify host when repairs are needed.

Work Schedule:

Cleaning shifts are scheduled based on guest check-in/check-out (typically between 10AM - 4 PM) flexibility for evening turnovers if guest does not arrive until the next day. Ability to bring children along

Pay:

From $15.00 per hour
