Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial settings, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming. Maintain floors through buffing and other floor care techniques to ensure they are clean and presentable. Conduct custodial duties such as emptying trash cans, cleaning restrooms, and replenishing supplies. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working condition and used safely. Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to meet health and safety standards. Qualifications Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not required. Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong communication skills.
