A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness of common areas, restrooms, and high traffic spaces. Preform touch up cleaning and restocking throughout the day. Respond promptly to cleaning requests. Empty trash, wipe down surfaces, and ensure floors remain presentable. Maintain a professional and friendly presence while on site.

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and dependability. Ability to work independently and stay on task. Professional appearance and communication with staff and guests.
