This energetic role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming facilities. As a vital part of our cleaning crew, you will utilize your skills in custodial work and facility maintenance to ensure high standards of sanitation and appearance across various environments. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers. Handle chemical agents safely while performing sanitation tasks, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures. Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of cleaning supplies and equipment to support daily operations. Maintain cleanliness by using commercial cleaning tools, including vacuums, mops, buffers, and other custodial equipment. Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks such as light repairs or painting when needed. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to cleaning requests and ensuring client satisfaction. Requirements Prior supervisor is preferred; familiarity with commercial cleaning standards is a plus. Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred; familiarity with commercial cleaning standards is a plus. Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation practices, and the proper handling of chemical agents. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safe lifting practices consistently. Experience operating floor buffers and other cleaning equipment is advantageous. Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence and facility maintenance standards. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and sanitation. Reliable team player with good communication skills capable of delivering outstanding customer service.
