SHIFT:

Full-Time / Evening shift 3p-11:30p / Every 3rd weekend

Position Description:

Sweep and mop floors in patient rooms, offices, and work areas, restrooms and public areas. Vacuum and spot clean carpet. Polish metal or other bright surfaces. Collects and transports waste, cleans and relines trash containers with plastic liners. Complete all cleaning of patient rooms & other areas of the hospital. Use detergents, disinfectants and other cleaning solutions according to manufacture recommendations. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED preferred. Certified Hospital Environmental Services Tech (CHEST) certification is desirable within one year from date of hire Good communication and customer service skills. Communicate with patients, guests, and other medical providers in a professional manner. Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
