This position is responsible for covering staffing openings caused by call-offs, vacations, separations, and other business needs. The Support Team Member may travel to multiple facilities during a shift and provide cleaning services in commercial environments, including medical, manufacturing, office, banking, and educational facilities. The role performs routine janitorial duties as well as specialized cleaning projects, including floor scrubbing and buffing, carpet spot cleaning, high dusting, and other periodic cleaning assignments. The Support Team Member may also assist with delivering janitorial supplies, maintaining cleaning equipment, organizing janitorial closets, and providing on-site support and training to team members. Because this position supports multiple locations and responds to changing operational needs, the Support Team Member must demonstrate flexibility, strong time management, dependability, initiative, and a sense of urgency. The position requires the ability to work independently, safely operate cleaning equipment and chemicals, and maintain professional interactions with clients, employees, management, and other facility personnel. Essential Functions Travel to multiple client accounts during a shift to perform cleaning duties and support operational staffing needs. Cover vacant janitorial and/or Day Porter positions in commercial facilities, including manufacturing, medical, office, banking, and school environments. Perform janitorial and facility cleaning duties in accordance with company safety, budget, quality, and operational standards. Clean interior building areas, including floors, carpets, rugs, windows, walls, furniture, countertops, ceilings, and other assigned surfaces. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors and carpeted areas. Disinfect high-touch surfaces, including tabletops, door handles, light switches, and other frequently touched surfaces. Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, cafeterias, common areas, and other assigned spaces. Respond promptly to spills, broken glass, and other cleaning needs to maintain a safe and clean environment. Restock supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, hand sanitizer, and other janitorial supplies. Safely operate cleaning chemicals, tools, machinery, and power equipment in accordance with company procedures and manufacturer instructions. Use floor machines to scrub tile floors and buff vinyl floors. Use portable carpet extractors to remove carpet spots and clean small areas of carpet. Use a 6-foot ladder to perform assigned projects, including high dusting. Perform routine maintenance and proper care of cleaning machinery and equipment. Organize and maintain janitorial closets according to Bee Line standards. Monitor building security and safety at assigned facilities, including locking doors after operating hours, reporting unauthorized occupants, turning off lights, and setting alarms according to established procedures. Follow safe work practices while driving, loading and unloading vehicles, and performing cleaning services. Assist with on-site training of new employees when requested. Monitor assigned facilities for maintenance concerns and notify management of the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems. Follow established ordering procedures and submit requests for cleaning supplies and equipment as needed. Deliver janitorial supplies and equipment to assigned facilities. Provide professional, courteous, and responsive customer service to clients, building occupants, coworkers, and management. Respond appropriately to client concerns, requests, and service needs. Maintain professional communication whether interacting in person, by phone, email, or other company-approved communication methods. Complete and submit the required daily report at the end of each shift. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Ability to safely use common janitorial tools, equipment, cleaning chemicals, floor machines, carpet extractors, and ladders. Knowledge of proper cleaning and disinfecting procedures and safe chemical handling. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to travel to multiple client locations during a shift. Valid state driver's license. Good driving record. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Legal authorization to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications 2-3 years of prior janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or facilities experience. Experience working in a similar support, floating, or multi-site cleaning position. Experience working in medical, manufacturing, office, banking, educational, or other commercial facilities. Experience operating floor machines and portable carpet extractors. Experience performing high dusting and other specialized cleaning projects. Experience providing on-site training or guidance to new employees. Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safety procedures. Strong English language proficiency. Previous experience using email, smartphones, and workplace applications to communicate and complete daily reporting requirements. Ability to work varied schedules and travel between multiple client facilities based on operational needs. Physical Demands The Support Team Member position requires regular physical activity associated with commercial cleaning and facility support. The position requires the ability to stand and walk frequently; lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally and lighter items frequently; push and pull cleaning equipment; climb stairs; bend, squat, kneel, and reach; and perform work at elevated heights using a 6-foot ladder. Physical demands and frequencies may vary depending on the assigned facility, cleaning requirements, projects, and business needs. Full-Time, 40 hours per week
