Job Title:
Janitorial Worker Job Description This role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and organized data center environment. You will perform janitorial and general labor tasks across indoor, outdoor, and under-construction areas while following safety and sanitation guidelines and supporting employees with professional, customer-focused service. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and organization of all areas of a data center, including common areas, restrooms, and workspaces. Perform routine janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and surface cleaning. Follow all established safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. Support and provide excellent customer service to all employees on site, responding to cleaning requests in a timely and professional manner. Work collaboratively with team members to complete cleaning tasks efficiently and maintain high standards of cleanliness. Assist with general labor tasks as needed in support of facility operations. Work in indoor, outdoor, and under-construction areas while adhering to all safety protocols. Essential Skills Experience performing janitorial or custodial duties in a commercial, industrial, or similar environment. Ability to perform general labor tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting as required by the role. Willingness and ability to work indoors, outdoors, and in areas that are under construction. Strong commitment to following safety and sanitation guidelines at all times. Ability to provide professional and courteous customer service to employees and visitors. Reliability and punctuality to work assigned shifts consistently. Capability to work effectively as part of a team and follow directions. Ability to obtain and comply with DCAT (NDA) and national agreement requirements for site access. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous janitorial experience in a data center, industrial facility, or similar environment is beneficial. Familiarity with working on active construction sites is an advantage. Comfort using basic cleaning equipment and supplies. Work Environment This role is based in a data center facility that includes indoor spaces, outdoor areas, and sections that may be under construction. You will work on-site and move between different parts of the facility throughout your shift. Available shifts include first shift (Tuesday through Saturday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) and multiple second-shift options (Tuesday through Saturday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.; Sunday through Thursday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.; Thursday through Monday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.). The environment requires adherence to strict safety, security, and sanitation protocols. The dress code typically involves practical, clean attire suitable for janitorial and general labor tasks, with any required safety gear or protective equipment provided or specified by the site Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fayetteville, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.25 - $16.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
