Part-Time Morning Cleaner The Outpost at Cheney Lake | Cheney, KS $15/hour | Part-Time | 4 Mornings Per Week The Outpost at Cheney Lake is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented person to take ownership of keeping our restaurant, bar, convenience store and guest areas consistently clean. This is a part-time morning position that is perfect for someone who likes getting their work done early, working independently, and taking pride in leaving a space noticeably better than they found it. Schedule 4 mornings per week: Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday Approximately 10-15 hours per week. Typical shifts will be approximately 2-4 hours depending on the day and cleaning needs . Tuesday will be our primary deeper-cleaning and reset day. Friday through Sunday will focus on keeping the restaurant clean throughout our busiest part of the week. Morning start times can have some flexibility, especially for the right person. What You'll Do You'll be responsible for the overall cleanliness and appearance of The Outpost, including: Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors Cleaning dining room and bar areas Cleaning convenience store and common areas Cleaning doors, windows, mirrors and glass Wiping down high-touch surfaces Emptying trash and replacing liners Restocking restroom supplies Dusting Cleaning baseboards, ledges and fixtures Cleaning underneath and around furniture Spot-cleaning walls, doors and surfaces Cleaning entrance and outdoor guest areas as needed Completing rotating deep-cleaning projects Notifying management when cleaning supplies are getting low Letting management know when you notice maintenance or cleanliness issues that need additional attention Restaurant and kitchen employees will continue handling normal food-service and food-contact cleaning. Your role is to make sure the overall facility stays consistently clean, cared for and guest-ready. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Is extremely dependable Enjoys working independently Notices details Doesn't need someone constantly telling them what to clean Takes pride in doing a job well Is comfortable with early morning hours Can perform normal cleaning tasks including bending, reaching, sweeping and mopping Can safely lift approximately 30-40 lbs Has reliable transportation Previous professional cleaning, janitorial, restaurant or hospitality experience is helpful, but not required. More important to us is finding someone dependable who sees cleanliness as something they can take ownership of.
