A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Cleaning By Jess is hiring dependable, detail-oriented Cleaning Technicians to join our growing team! Requirements Must be at least 18 years old Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Able to pass a criminal background check Dependable, punctual, and available Monday-Friday between 8:15 AM and 5:30 PM Able to work independently and as part of a team Able to follow detailed instructions, checklists, and safety procedures Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Professional, respectful, and trustworthy in clients' homes and businesses Comfortable working around pets and using cleaning products Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday Able to lift and carry cleaning equipment weighing up to 30 pounds Professional cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training is provided Job Details Starting pay: $15 per hour Increase to $16 per hour after demonstrating proficiency in bathroom cleaning Increase to $17 per hour after demonstrating proficiency in kitchen cleaning and completing full Cleaning Technician certification Most successful employees complete certification within approximately 60 days Experienced candidates may qualify for accelerated training and pay advancement Opportunities for increased responsibility and advancement to Lead Cleaning Technician Work is scheduled Monday-Friday, generally between 8:15 AM and 5:30 PM Weekly hours vary according to client demand and are not guaranteed Services are performed in residential and commercial properties throughout Great Bend and surrounding communities Uniforms, professional cleaning supplies, and equipment are provided Transportation between appointments is provided or eligible mileage is reimbursed according to company policy No regularly scheduled evenings, weekends, or major holidays Responsibilities Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, offices, and other assigned spaces Dust and sanitize surfaces, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors Follow company checklists, client instructions, and safety procedures Complete appointments efficiently while meeting quality standards Protect clients' property and maintain confidentiality Report damage, hazards, supply needs, and incomplete work promptly Maintain equipment and keep supplies organized Provide courteous service and communicate professionally To be considered, please complete our online employment application using the link below.
