Porter/Cleaner, Now Hiring in Kansas City, KS!

As Porter you will be reporting to the Facilities Manager. Your primary responsibilities will include retail store cleaning, floor care, and general custodial duties. Your core skills in janitorial and custodial experience will ensure high standards of cleanliness. Join our team to contribute to a welcoming and well-maintained environment for all visitors. This job takes place in a warehouse environment. Safety boots required.

Shift:

Days vary, hours are 5am- 1:30pm and 12:30-9pm. Weekends are mandatory.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming Perform power washing Perform trash removal and replace containers with empty bags Service, supply and clean restrooms including all fixtures; toilets, urinals, partitions, walls, vents and mirrors Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment Patrol entire site for any trash and/or spills that needs to be cleaned Requirements Must be able to walk and/or stand for up to four hours at a time minimum Must be able to perform all required duties of the position Must be able to lift objects up to 50 pounds Must be able to clean restrooms, offices, exterior and warehouse Must have great attention to detail Driver's License preferred Physical Demands The employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
