A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

N/A Performs cleaning and minor maintenance tasks to ensure building and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary environment. May be required to assist in satellite office.
Essential Responsibilities :
Maintain cleanliness of building and property according to established schedule. Work at the direction of direct supervisor and applicable Office Supervisor to prioritize which areas should be cleaned when. Ensure trash is emptied and restrooms are cleaned daily Vacuum, sweep and mop floors according to schedule. Clean and sanitize all surfaces in common areas Deep clean group areas and waiting rooms at least weekly Meet all OSHA standards regarding facility upkeep as trained Perform monthly checks on equipment to meet inspection standards Stay current with all Relias training Maintain adequate inventories of cleaning supplies and paper products for all offices Advise Supervisor when supplies need re-stocked. Ensure soap dispensers and toilet paper/paper towels are full Assist in setting up/tearing down for special events and ensure building is ready As directed by direct supervisor and/or Office Supervisor, remove snow from all sidewalks and entrances after each snow event to ensure the office is ready to open. Review and comply with the Pawnee Code of Conduct outlined in the Employee Handbook Perform all other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or other management personnel.
