In this vital role, you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and maintaining a wide range of event equipment and facilities. Your efforts will help create a seamless experience for clients and attendees alike, ensuring every event runs smoothly from start to finish. Monday and Tuesday each week are required days, hours are flexible on those days. Responsibilities Use ladders safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas of equipment and facilities, following all safety protocols. Clean a variety of event equipment including tables, chairs, and furniture using appropriate cleaning methods and tools. Adhere strictly to safety procedures by utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, masks, and fire extinguishers when necessary. Perform manual handling tasks including lifting heavy items like staging components or large furniture pieces with proper technique to prevent injury. Conduct outdoor work tasks such as pressure washing outdoor equipment or cleaning outdoor event spaces while respecting environmental safety standards. Follow detailed cleaning checklists and safety protocols to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety throughout all tasks. Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment when needed, ensuring all items are cleaned and stored correctly after each event. Experience Prior experience in industrial or commercial cleaning environments is preferred, especially with large-scale or outdoor events. Knowledge of safety protocols related to industrial cleaning, including PPE use and fire extinguisher operation. Experience with pressure washing, duct cleaning, floor buffing, or other specialized cleaning techniques is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during setup or cleanup processes. Outdoor work experience is beneficial due to the nature of some event environments. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent time management skills ensures all tasks are completed thoroughly and promptly.
