Approximately 20 hours per week, with cleaning arranged to prepare the facilities for Sunday worship, regular ministries, classes, meetings, and special events. Position Summary The Part-Time Custodian is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, orderly, and welcoming church facilities for worship, ministry, education, fellowship, staff work, and community use. This position provides routine weekly cleaning, preparation for Sunday services, restroom sanitation, floor care, trash removal, supply monitoring, and periodic cleaning support for both the main church building and the education building. Primary Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all restrooms, including toilets, urinals where present, sinks, counters, mirrors, fixtures, dispensers, door handles, and other high-touch surfaces.
• Vacuum carpeted areas, including sanctuary aisles, seating areas, balcony, parlor, nursery, offices, upstairs hallway, walkways, and other carpeted spaces.
• Sweep and mop tile floors in kitchens, restrooms, classrooms, Elliott Hall, hallways, and other tile-surface areas.
• Clean wood flooring in the Homebuilders study room using an approved wood-floor method.
• Empty trash receptacles and place trash in the outside dumpster.
• Dust tables, pews, furniture, piano, windowsills, ledges, surfaces above doors, shelves, and other furnishings.
• Clean glass in entryways, interior door glass, and visible smudges on windows or doors as needed.
• Keep entryways clean and presentable, including exterior entry areas as assigned.
• Keep buildings free of cobwebs and wipe walls, doors, and high-touch areas as needed.
• Restock toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and other paper goods or cleaning supplies in assigned areas.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, stains, leaks, odors, broken fixtures, damaged items, low supplies, or equipment problems promptly.
