In this vital role, you will ensure that our work environment remains clean, safe, and welcoming for all employees and visitors. Your energetic approach to custodial duties will help maintain the highest standards of sanitation and facility appearance. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with janitorial experience who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. You will be responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks, operating cleaning equipment, and adhering to safety protocols to ensure a pristine and safe environment every day.

Hours:

6AM-2:30PM

OR 9AM-5

30PM Responsibilities Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas. Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and carpet cleaners to maintain floor care standards. Handle chemical agents safely following proper chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation guidelines. Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling tasks to move furniture, supplies, or equipment as needed while practicing safe lifting practices. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting to support overall building upkeep. Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. Experience Previous custodial or janitorial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with cleaning equipment including floor buffers, scrubbers, and other custodial tools. Knowledge of chemical agent handling safety procedures and sanitation standards. Experience with heavy lifting and manual handling in a custodial or porter role is advantageous. Strong understanding of safety protocol adherence and facilities maintenance practices. Customer service skills are beneficial for interacting professionally with staff and visitors during cleaning routines.
