The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in commercial plumbing and drain cleaning. This role involves performing plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance on mostly commercial projects. This position will ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes, providing exceptional service to clients while demonstrating expertise in plumbing. Duties Lead installations and repairs on plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment Perform drain cleaning and unclogging Maintain accurate documentation of work performed for project record Responsible for quality work, productivity, meeting deadlines, and cost and resource control Train apprentices, providing technical direction pertaining to scope of work Drive a van to various job sites to complete all service calls Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to guide repairs and installations Accountable for inventories, requisitions, materials, and supplies needed for each job. Climb ladders and stairs. Work off ladders using hand tools and power tools to include working off lift platforms at heights above six feet. Use lifting, moving and rigging equipment to safely move, transfer or relocate heavy equipment. Work in adverse working conditions such as confined spaces, dirty/greasy areas, low lighting, and extreme temperatures. Stoop, bend and reach. Lift up to 75 pounds Professional, courteous, and respectful to customers as well as fellow employees. Strong communication skills and commitment. Professional personal appearance and some internet skills. 100% dedication to safety, working hard, being on time and staying organized. This position requires working a rotating on-call/standby schedule and may be called in for emergency response including nights, weekends, and holidays. Qualifications Valid Master Plumbing License with relevant state certification 3+ years of commercial work experience Drain cleaning experience Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery required for plumbing tasks Maintain valid driver's license throughout employment Ability to work independently Ability to handle physical workload Customer-focused with very good communication skills Preferably fluent with Jobber Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety compliance and quality workmanship Benefits Profit goal bonuses and incentives based on landing recurring customers and training new hires Vacation Holidays Simple IRA with up to 3% company match Fully paid health insurance; Vision and dental add-ons covered by employee Parental leave This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects requiring advanced plumbing expertise.
