3002564044-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Carmel Manor, a Catholic, not-for-profit senior living community in Fort Thomas, KY, is seeking an Environmental Services Worker to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, and staff. In this role, you will perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of resident rooms, common areas, and clinical spaces, following infection control and safety standards. You will work closely with nursing and support teams, interact kindly with residents, and support our faith-based, resident-centered mission of dignity, respect, and quality of life. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to facility standards Follow infection control and safety procedures to reduce risk of illness and injury Handle trash and soiled linens safely and according to policy Replenish supplies and maintain cleaning carts and equipment Support room turnover for new admissions and discharges Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly Interact courteously with residents, families, and staff in a faith-based environment Work collaboratively with nursing and other departments to support resident care Required Skills Hospital housekeeping Floor care (mopping, buffing) Infection control procedures Use of cleaning chemicals and equipment Waste handling and disposal Room turnover and terminal cleaning Laundry handling Basic maintenance reporting Time management Communication with residents and staff
