A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Full Job Description Overview Job Description:
Janitorial cleaning services offered to several commercial buildings throughout the Louisville and Southern Indiana area. It is our responsibility to ensure every account is properly cleaned for the next business day. Our crew members will be energetic, highly motivated, detailed oriented, and flexible as schedules and responsibilities may change periodically.Job Responsibilities:
- The Floater will maintain a regular schedule throughout the week, but must be available when called upon between the hours of operation.
- The Floater must maintain regular janitorial duties for each account. o The Floater will take out trash, clean restrooms and breakrooms, restock paper and soap products, vacuum carpeted areas, sweep and mop hard surface flooring, dust windowsills and blinds, clean glass doors, and dust return vents.
- The Floater will fill-in when an employee is absent from work.
Requirements:
- Must have your own reliable transportation. Traveling back and forth to Indiana and Kentucky may occur on a regular basis.
- Must be available when called upon between the hours of operation. Change of schedule may happen within an hour of scheduled time to begin work.
- Must learn all job responsibilities for each account (restrooms, trash, floor care, dusting schedule, etc)
Hours Per Shift:
- Employee will work roughly 3-5 hours most days/nights
- When called upon, The Floater may work up to an 8 hour shift
