Job Title Environmental Services (EVS) Worker Job Description Dean's Professional Services is currently seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Environmental Services (EVS) Workers for a healthcare facility in Alexandria, LA. Job Details Salary:
Starting at $13.82 / hour (up to more based on experience)
Job Type:
Full-time, Temp-to-Hire Shift/Schedule:
8:00 AM - 6:30 PM (Days vary)
Location:
Alexandria, LA (In-person)
Responsibilities Clean & Sanitize:
Maintain high standards of cleanliness by sanitizing patient rooms, restrooms, and waiting areas.
Floor & Surface Care:
Dust, sweep, mop, and maintain surfaces and fixtures to ensure a hygienic and welcoming environment.
Safety & Compliance:
Safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment while strictly following infection control and safety protocols.
Waste Management:
Properly dispose of trash, soiled linens, and other waste materials in compliance with facility procedures.
Reporting:
Inspect areas and promptly report any maintenance, repair, or safety hazards to supervisors.
Requirements & Qualifications Experience:
1+ years of previous EVS, janitorial, or custodial experience is preferred.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
Skills:
