Full-Time Custodian - Baton Rouge, Louisiana Axe National Management Services, LLC is seeking dependable, organized, and hardworking custodians for immediate employment in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Work Schedule Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. No regularly scheduled weekend work Occasional weekend work may be required if specifically requested by the client Primary Responsibilities Gather and empty trash and recycling containers Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors Strip, wax, and refinish facility floors Clean spills and address safety hazards promptly Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms Notify management when additional supplies are needed Safely operate standard janitorial tools and power equipment Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and supplies Work effectively independently and as part of a team Maintain quality and productivity when supervisors are not present Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Basic arithmetic, reading, and writing skills Floor-stripping and waxing experience is preferred Strong attention to detail and a dependable work ethic Punctual and able to manage time effectively Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift Ability to lift at least 25 pounds Ability to safely use janitorial chemicals, equipment, and supplies Must successfully pass a criminal background check conducted through the
