In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure a hygienic, organized, and welcoming environment. Your efforts will directly contribute to the overall well-being of staff, visitors, and clients, creating a positive impression and supporting operational efficiency. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all areas of the facility. Maintain floors through buffing, stripping, waxing, and other floor care procedures to ensure safety and appearance standards are met. Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas following health and safety guidelines. Conduct industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning of equipment or specialized areas as needed. Assist with facilities maintenance activities including minor repairs, painting, or setup for events when required. Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to established procedures. Support custodial efforts for both commercial and residential spaces, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are consistently achieved. Skills Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial services with a strong understanding of custodial best practices. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing floors. Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and facilities maintenance tasks. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors effectively.
