Full-Time We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Refinery Janitor/Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly industrial facility. This is a hands-on industrial cleaning position that involves cleaning concrete surfaces, processing areas, structures, equipment, stairs, handrails, and walkways throughout the plant. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in an industrial environment, takes pride in keeping their work area clean, and follows all safety procedures and instructions. Job Responsibilities Clean concrete surfaces in processing tank fields Clean concrete in general plant areas and other designated areas Use foamers to clean processing structures and equipment as directed by the Process Supervisor Clean and maintain stairs, handrails, walkways, and other common areas Remove dirt, residue, buildup, and debris from designated areas Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Follow all plant safety procedures and General Safe Practices Complete additional cleaning and housekeeping duties as assigned by the Process Supervisor Work cooperatively with plant personnel and follow instructions from supervisors Qualifications Previous janitorial, custodial, industrial cleaning, refinery, plant, or general labor experience is a plus Must be dependable and have good attendance Must be comfortable performing physical, hands-on work Ability to work safely in an industrial/refinery environment Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong attention to cleanliness and detail Must be safety-conscious and willing to follow all site-specific safety requirements Ability to work independently as well as part of a team #insj
