As a Commercial Cleaner, you will be responsible for executing detailed cleaning routines, utilizing specialized equipment, and handling cleaning chemicals safely—all while providing excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction. Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including floor scrubbing, waxing, buffing, and refinishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness and floor care. Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, polishers, carpet extractors, and other janitorial tools efficiently and safely. Handle chemical agents responsibly by following safety protocols for mixing, applying, and disposing of floor cleaning chemicals and other cleaning solutions. Conduct manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture, equipment, or supplies to support thorough cleaning operations. Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, and detailed floor care procedures. Ensure all areas are cleaned according to client specifications, including restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and common areas. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client requests promptly and professionally while maintaining a positive attitude throughout your shift. Requirements Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services with knowledge of janitorial best practices. Familiarity with floor cleaning chemicals and proper handling techniques to ensure safety and effectiveness. Ability to operate various cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, waxers, carpet cleaners, and scrubbing machines confidently. Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during shifts. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for completing assigned tasks efficiently. Good communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. Knowledge of environmental services standards related to safe chemical use and waste disposal is preferred.
