2988258837-2 Apply for this job now Job Description West Fraser is seeking a reliable Janitor to keep our manufacturing facility clean, safe, and operating smoothly. In this role you will perform daily cleaning of production areas, offices, restrooms, and common spaces, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash and recycling removal, and minor spill response. You'll safely use industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals, follow all safety and PPE standards, and support our sustainability and housekeeping programs. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize production areas, offices, restrooms, and common spaces on a routine schedule Safely operate industrial floor scrubbers, vacuums, and related cleaning equipment Handle, mix, and store cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety and environmental guidelines Remove trash, recyclables, and manufacturing debris, maintaining orderly waste and recycling stations Respond to minor spills and housekeeping hazards to support a safe work environment Replenish supplies such as soap, paper products, and cleaning materials throughout the facility Inspect assigned areas and report damage, safety concerns, or maintenance needs to supervision Follow all safety procedures, including PPE use and facility rules, and participate in safety meetings Support sustainability and recycling initiatives aligned with West Fraser's environmental commitments Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to schedule cleaning with minimal disruption to operations Required Skills Industrial cleaning Floor care equipment operation Chemical handling and dilution Safety and PPE compliance Waste and recycling handling Basic equipment inspection Inventory of cleaning supplies Lockout/Tagout awareness Forklift operation Hazard communication (Haz Com)
