2988258269-2 Apply for this job now Job Description West Fraser is seeking a reliable Janitor to keep our manufacturing facility clean, safe, and efficient. In this mill-based role, you will perform daily cleaning of production areas, offices, restrooms, and common spaces; sweep, mop, and remove dust and debris; handle waste and recycling; and sanitize high-touch surfaces and equipment. You'll follow strict safety procedures, use PPE, and support our sustainability goals by proper handling of materials. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize production areas, offices, restrooms, and common spaces Sweep, mop, and remove dust, debris, and waste from mill floors and walkways Collect, sort, and dispose of trash and recycling according to site procedures Sanitize high-touch surfaces, break areas, and locker rooms Operate basic floor care and cleaning equipment safely Follow all safety policies, PPE requirements, and environmental guidelines Replenish cleaning and restroom supplies as needed Support spill response and report hazards or maintenance issues promptly Collaborate with mill staff to minimize disruption to operations Assist with special cleaning projects and shutdown deep cleans as required Required Skills Industrial cleaning Use of cleaning chemicals and PPEFloor care equipment operation Waste and recycling handling Lockout/Tagout awareness Basic maintenance tasks Safety and OSHA compliance Inventory of cleaning supplies Equipment sanitization Spill response
