A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

The Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV) performs functions of the state relative to the examination and licensing of operators of motor vehicles, the suspension and revocation of such licenses, issuance of vehicle title and registration certificates, license plates for all motor vehicles operated upon the highways of the state, recordation of liens against vehicles, and the collection of sales/use tax and other appropriate fees, all in accordance with applicable laws. We're looking for a Custodian 1 to join our Ville Platte OMV Location. The Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV) will provide the highest quality service and protection to internal and external customers in an environment that views change as opportunity. Job Duties:
Cleans bathrooms, offices, hallways, and any other assigned areas by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing. Empties and decontaminates trash containers; may assist in disposing of infectious waste. Moves, rearranges, and dusts furniture and fixtures. Learns to mix or blend cleaning solutions to proper concentrations as necessary for various tasks.

Compensation:
