Schedule:
Monday through Friday 3pm to 11:30pm plus overtime as required. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Sweeping, mopping, dusting/washing furniture, vacuuming floors and surfaces and restocking restroom and kitchen areas. Responsible for sanitizing bathroom surfaces, fixtures, and food handling areas. Emptying trash and recycling receptacles and moving the trash and recyclables to the appropriate pick-up points. Strip, wax and burnish floors using power floor machines, as well as operate heavy-duty wet pick-up machines to remove liquids form floor surfaces.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license, personal vehicle for on-campus transportation required and full background check required. Must be able to work well with the general school community. Must be able to perform all aspects of custodial services. Be able to respond to changing and/or short notice custodial service requirements. Prior floor care and cleaning experience preferred. Ability to read, write, speak, understand and communicate in English sufficiently to carry out the duties of the position. When emergencies and/or extreme weather conditions occur, the functions of this job may be deemed essential, and employee must report to work and/or remain on duty during their regularly scheduled work hours or the work hours designated by their supervisor.
