The mission of CREST Collaborative is to serve member school districts in meeting their unique needs in a changing global community through cooperative visionary leadership and coordination of resources and services. Collaborative services maximize efficiency, quality, and equity of educational opportunity. CREST Collaborative is currently looking for a part-time Custodian. Schedule is 25 hours a week (5 hour shift per day), Mondays through Fridays. The goal of the Facilities Department is to create an environment, so that all staff, students and the community are assured of clean, safe, attractive, and healthy place in which to learn and work. Shift to start after 3pm. (2nd shift)

Responsibilities:

Performs custodial duties and minor repairs Performs cleaning all aspects of a school building(s) and the appropriate operation and maintenance of equipment Assists in sanitation control and checks for safety hazards Performs classroom set up duties such as furniture moving, set up and take down Performs basic maintenance skills such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, heating, and cleaning Maintains a safe working environment

Qualifications:

At least one (1) year of relevant experience preferred, ideally in a school environment, Demonstrate basic knowledge of the maintenance of the buildings and equipment as well as trades including plumbing, electrical, carpentry. High School diploma/Trade School degree preferred. Basic computer skills are required. Ability to interact positively with students, staff, parents, and community members. Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Hourly rate:

$17.75 per hour

Pay:

$17.50 - $17.75 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week
