In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring all designated areas are spotless, safe, and well-maintained, creating a clean and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and clients alike. Your expertise in commercial and residential cleaning, combined with your commitment to safety and quality, will help uphold our high standards of cleanliness and facility upkeep. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the comfort and safety of our operational spaces while developing your skills in custodial services. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment Operate floor buffers, scrubbers, and other machinery to maintain pristine floor conditions across various surfaces Handle chemical agents safely by following proper handling procedures and safety protocols Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely during the movement of furniture, equipment, or supplies in line with safe lifting practices Maintain detailed cleaning logs and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly Assist with industrial cleaning projects and custodial tasks as needed to support facility operations Support general facilities maintenance including minor repairs, trash removal, and replenishing supplies Qualifications Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles within commercial or industrial settings Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and proper use of cleaning machinery such as floor buffers Familiarity with handling chemical agents safely and understanding OSHA safety standards Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting with proper technique to prevent injury Prior experience with industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is highly desirable Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Join us as a Cleaning Specialist and be part of a passionate team committed to maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments.
