Experienced / Manufacturer-Certified Flooring Equipment Technician Full-Time | $45-$65 Per Hour Based on Experience & Certifications We are actively looking for a highly qualified, experienced Flooring Equipment Technician with professional experience diagnosing and repairing concrete grinding, polishing and surface-preparation equipment. Manufacturer-Certified / Factory-Trained Technicians Strongly Preferred We are especially interested in technicians who have received factory training or certification from manufacturers such as: Lavina / Superabrasive

• Husqvarna
• Diamatic
• BlastPro
• or similar professional flooring-equipment manufacturers If you have worked as a factory technician, authorized service technician, equipment dealer technician, distributor technician, or flooring-equipment repair specialist , we want to speak with you.

This is NOT a general small-engine mechanic position. We are specifically searching for someone who already knows this equipment and can independently troubleshoot a machine, identify the actual cause of the problem, make the correct repair, test it and confidently put it back into service. Equipment You Will Diagnose & Repair Our equipment fleet includes: Propane concrete grinders and polishers Electric concrete grinders — 110V, 220V and 3-phase Planetary grinding and polishing machines Industrial dust extractors and vacuums Ride-on and walk-behind floor scrapers Burnishers Auto scrubbers Shot blasting / surface-preparation equipment Edging machines Other professional concrete and flooring equipment You Must Be Able to Troubleshoot — Not Just Replace Parts We need a technician who understands how to systematically diagnose equipment failures involving: Propane engines and fuel systems Electric motors 110V / 220V / 3-phase electrical systems VFDs and electronic controls Wiring and electrical troubleshooting Switches, relays, contactors and control components Vacuum motors and dust-collection systems Planetary grinding systems Bearings, belts, pulleys, gearboxes and drive systems Hydraulic and mechanical systems Preventative maintenance Equipment performance and operating issues We are looking for a true diagnostic technician. If a grinder arrives in the shop and won't run properly, we expect you to be able to troubleshoot the machine, isolate the problem and determine why it failed —not simply start replacing parts and hoping to find the problem. Ideal Candidate Our ideal candidate has several years of direct experience working on professional concrete/flooring equipment and has manufacturer training or certifications.

You should be:

Highly experienced with flooring/surface-preparation equipment Factory trained or manufacturer certified — strongly preferred Experienced with both propane and electric equipment Strong with electrical diagnostics Comfortable troubleshooting VFDs, motors and control systems Mechanically skilled Clean, neat and extremely organized Capable of maintaining an organized repair shop and parts area Dependable and professional Able to work independently without constant supervision Able to explain what failed, why it failed and what was done to correct it Focused on repairing equipment correctly the first time We Are Willing to Pay for the Right Technician $45-$65 per hour depending on actual experience, manufacturer training, certifications and diagnostic ability. We are not looking for the cheapest mechanic. We are looking for the right technician. Someone with substantial Lavina, SASE, Husqvarna, Diamatic, BlastPro or comparable manufacturer experience/certification will receive serious consideration.
