Overview We are seeking a motivated Junior Custodian to join our cleaning and maintenance team. Assist with floor care tasks such as buffing and polishing to ensure floors are well-maintained and safe. Support custodial operations in school settings, adhering to established procedures. Conduct light maintenance tasks including basic repairs and facility upkeep as needed. Follow safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities to ensure a secure work environment. Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment efficiently while maintaining proper safety standards. Collaborate with team members to complete daily cleaning schedules and special projects promptly. Assist with industrial cleaning tasks when required, ensuring high standards of hygiene are met. Skills Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and janitorial practices. Experience with floor care, buffing, and polishing is advantageous. Familiarity with commercial cleaning, residential painting, or industrial cleaning is a plus. Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleanliness and safety compliance. Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a team. Good organizational skills and reliability in completing assigned tasks on time. Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment safely.
