What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
OBJECTIVE
To clean, following schedules and by assigned tasks onP.R.I.D.E.
Inc. property and in community work setting.Hours:
Monday thru Friday, 7:30am-2:30pmQUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
HS diploma orGED EXPERIENCE
Experience in commercial cleaning.SKILLS / ABILITIES
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 40 lbs. repeatedly.
- Ability to work standing and moving throughout shift.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to interact effectively with people.
- Ability to physically perform janitorial duties, including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, rest rooms, etc
- Ability to recognize areas needing cleaning
- Ability to follow a daily routine
