Lead Technician Role Overview:
Cleaning of interior and exterior residential and commercial windows using industry standard techniques and equipment. Cleaning and scrubbing tracks. Cleaning Screens. Power washing brick, siding and concrete. Gutter Cleaning. Leads primarily handle maintenance plans but also handle first-time residential jobs. Lead Responsibilities Before the
Job:
Leads are responsible for everything from start to finish. Each week the leads will need to look ahead at their jobs and make sure they have the materials necessary and are aware of what they are walking into. They communicate with customers about timeliness, sending alerts before arriving. Leads ensure clear communication by discussing job details upon arrival.
Job Delegation and Oversight:
During the job, Leads oversee and delegate responsibilities. They coordinate with their technician, directing tasks like window cleaning. Leads ensure smooth and efficient job progress, preventing bottlenecks. They may partner on certain tasks to maintain quality.
Job Closeout and Customer Interaction:
Leads handle the job's closeout, including customer interaction. They walk through the completed job with the customer. They discuss what went well and any areas that may not have met standards. Leads handle payment forms and gently mention the importance of reviews.
Ownership and Accountability:
The Lead takes ownership of the entire job, including any imperfections. They acknowledge that any tech issues trace back to their delegation or communication. The Lead bears the ultimate responsibility for job success and customer satisfaction. Effective communication and oversight are key to the Lead's role.
