Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation within our facilities on Tuesdays from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. This role is vital in ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding high standards of cleanliness through efficient cleaning practices and proper handling of cleaning supplies and equipment. Responsibilities Remove trash and replace liners. Vacuum carpets and rugs. Sweep and mop hard floors. Clean and sanitize restrooms and breakrooms. Wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces. Dust surfaces and remove cobwebs. Report maintenance, safety, or other facility concerns. Required Qualifications Demonstrated attention to detail. Reliable transportation; the position is not accessible by Metro or bus and is near Sherwood High School U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the United States. Ability to pass a background check. Ability to lift no more than 20 lbs. Preferred Qualifications At least one year of janitorial or commercial cleaning experience. Experience with floor care, restroom sanitation, and disinfection procedures. Knowledge of chemical safety practices. Strong time management and reliability. Effective written/oral communication.
