A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

Cleaning Technician 1- Laurel Bush #1018 Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 6:30 p.m to 10:30 p.m. As a Cleaning Tech 1 you will be tasked with some of the most important responsibilities within our organization, maintaining a clean and healthy building for our customers with every service. Your skills will be put to the test day-to-day as your efforts determine our customers first daily impressions. Our goal is for every Cleaning Tech 1 to achieve Tech 2 status after their first 90 days.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Completes responsibilities within determined work schedule and budget. Understands customers expectations and helps to ensure 100% satisfaction with each service. Communicates friendly and respectfully without conflict. Communicates effectively to Site Supervisor and other Management. Follows ALL company policies as outlined in the employee handbook. Ability to withstand physical labor including lifting, standing, walking, climbing stairs carrying. Excepts constructive feedback effectively. Follows proper training regarding the use of all equipment and products. Adheres to all safety and security procedures at each location. Helps site supervisor manage site product inventory. Ensures janitorial closets are kept clean and organized. Makes minor equipment repairs when needed. Advises management of employee or client issues. Identifies problems and resolves issues in a timely manner by listening, gathering facts, and establishing solutions. Receives changes and expectations effectively. Follows work assignments and expectations. Helps ensure a harassment-free environment. Works with integrity and ethically. Identify areas for improvement at sites and reports feedback to Site Supervisor. Requirements Background check Clean driving record - if company vehicle use is required Works autonomously, identifies work that needs to be completed and uses time efficiently completing all assignments as expected. Communicates effectively, verbally and in writing, and maintains effective work relations with all team-members. Detail oriented - pays attention to details at each account with extra attention to any special requests. Independent thinker with good judgement and initiative. Ability to solve conflicts.. Exhibits sound and accurate judgment and makes timely decisions. Safety and Security - adheres to all safety and security policies and procedures, promotes safety and security in the workplace and uses equipment and materials properly. Maintains a familiarity with SDS sheets for all chemicals used
