This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working both indoors and outdoors, and is committed to providing exceptional service to residents. Position Summary The Janitorial / Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of common areas throughout the community, assisting with light maintenance tasks, and ensuring the property remains safe, clean, and welcoming for residents and guests. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Clean and maintain clubhouses, fitness centers, restrooms, and other common areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize all assigned areas. Empty trash and recycling receptacles throughout the property. Pick up litter and debris from sidewalks, parking lots, landscaped areas, and common grounds. Clean windows, glass doors, and entryways. Monitor and restock janitorial supplies. Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, vandalism, or property damage to management. Work closely with the maintenance team to help maintain a clean and attractive community. Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines. Qualifications Previous janitorial, porter, custodial, or groundskeeping experience preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Reliable transportation and punctual attendance. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Valid driver's license preferred.
