Overview We are seeking a dedicated Janitorial Worker to join our facilities maintenance team. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and buffing to maintain a polished appearance. Conduct routine custodial tasks such as dusting, trash removal, restroom sanitation, and surface cleaning. Utilize commercial cleaning equipment and supplies effectively to ensure optimal results. Assist with industrial cleaning projects and specialized floor care procedures as needed. Support facilities maintenance activities, including minor repairs and upkeep of cleaning tools. Maintain cleanliness standards in both residential and commercial environments. Follow safety protocols during all cleaning operations to prevent accidents or injuries. Document completed tasks and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles, with knowledge of commercial and industrial cleaning techniques. Familiarity with floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, and sealing floors. Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently. Basic understanding of facilities maintenance tasks is preferred. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical stamina to perform manual cleaning duties over extended periods.
