Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Joseph's Miracle Cleaning Services is seeking a dependable, versatile, and respectful Specialty Cleaning Technician to join our team on an independent contractor (1099) basis. Prior janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial or institutional setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. This per-diem position requires total flexibility and the ability to travel extensively across our full service territory—including Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. Daily assignments vary widely across our complete portfolio of residential, restoration, and biohazard cleanup services.

Standard & Deep Residential Cleaning Kitchen, Bathroom, Bedroom, & Living Area Sanitization Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning Support Compassionate Hoarding & Decluttering Cleanup (Decomposition & Heavy Odor Removal)Disaster & Specialty Restoration:
Fire & Smoke Damage Restoration (Soot removal, structural cleaning)Water Damage Remediation & Drying Assistance Odor Elimination & Decontamination Post-Construction Cleanup Biohazard & Trauma Remediation:
Crime Scene Cleanup Unattended Death Cleanup Suicide & Homicide Cleanup Blood & Bodily Fluid Spill Cleanup Infectious Disease & Decontamination Cleanup Pay & Compensation:
Pay is structured as a tiered hourly rate based on job type and hazard level:Standard Residential & Move-In/Move-Out:
$15.00 - $20.00 / hourPost-Construction & Fire Restoration:
$15.00 - $20.00 / hourHoarding, Trauma & Biohazard Remediation:
$20.00 - $45.00+ / hour Payouts are issued per completed job/project assignment.Requirements:
Experience:
Prior janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial or institutional setting is preferred but not mandatory (training will be provided for the right candidate).Age:
Must be at least 18 years old.Travel & Transportation:
Must have a reliable personal vehicle capable of hauling cleaning supplies and gear, and be able to travel throughout Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia to reach assigned job sites.Flexibility:
Must be comfortable with flexible, variable scheduling and fluctuating weekly income due to the per-diem, on-call nature of emergency response and specialty cleaning work.Versatility:
Must be willing to accept any and all cleaning job types assigned (candidates cannot opt out of specific categories like biohazard or hoarding).Background Check:
