Multiple Shifts Available Position Summary:
Experienced campus custodial professional needed to maintain a clean, safe school environment. Must be ready to perform at a high level from day one. All candidates must clear mandatory background checks prior to working on campus. Background Check Requirements Federal background check Child Protection Registry (CPR) background check Minimum Requirements 5+ years commercial janitorial or custodial experience Floor care expertise: stripping, waxing, and buffing hard-surface floors Must operate floor machines (buffers, auto-scrubbers) on day one — no training provided Reliable transportation; valid proof of insurance and current vehicle registration required for campus access Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift Safe handling of commercial cleaning chemicals per MSDS guidelines
Daily Duties:
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms; restock all supplies
  • Sweep, mop, and maintain all floors — classrooms, hallways, cafeteria, offices, gym, and common areas
  • Wipe down and disinfect desks, tables, counters, and shared surfaces Clean glass doors and windows campus-wide
  • Disinfect high-touch points: handles, push bars, handrails, and switches
  • Empty and reline all trash and recycling receptacles
  • Sanitize cafeteria tables and floors after each meal service
  • Police outdoor grounds and empty outdoor receptacles Strip, wax, and buff floors per scheduled rotation
  • Report maintenance issues, hazards, and vandalism to supervisor
