Our client is currently seeking a reliable and dedicated part-time Custodian to join their team at a warehouse facility located in Upper Marlboro, Maryland . This position plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of both office and warehouse areas. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently to uphold high standards of hygiene throughout the facility.

The Day-to-Day:

Perform general cleaning of front office spaces and additional offices throughout the warehouse. Sanitize and maintain all restrooms in the facility. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wipe down surfaces across assigned areas. Collect, remove, and properly dispose of trash and cardboard from warehouse floors. Operate floor-cleaning equipment and balers as required (training provided if necessary). Follow all safety protocols while completing janitorial tasks, including occasional heavy lifting. Maintain cleanliness standards in accordance with company guidelines. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work, especially in a warehouse environment. Safety-conscious mindset and willingness to follow facility protocols. Prior experience using a baler is a plus, but not required if willing to learn. Physically able to lift heavy objects and remain on your feet for extended periods.

$17.00 /hour
