A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Must have a valid driver's license, general maintenance experience preferred. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment and general facilities when needed and possible. Report what is not possible to Warehouse Manager and arrange for outside contracting of work. Maintains log of equipment maintenance as well as warranty, guarantee and owner's manual and/or instructions. Ensure the fire flow and security systems are tested regularly and operating proficiently. Also is responsible to effectively and efficiently maintain the cleanliness and overall "neatness" of the entire facility to include parking lot and grounds. Ensures the Recycling Program is maintained, including that cardboard has been put into compactor and is compacted as needed and that the other recyclables are handled appropriately. Responsible to make sure janitorial and maintenance supplies are stocked and ordered as needed. Responsible for cleaning & restocking supplies to all restrooms
