Why This Role Matters The Janitor independently cleans restrooms, offices, break rooms, locker rooms, kitchenettes/pantries, showers, stairwells, corridors, elevators/escalators, and other work areas. Duties involve a combination of the following: Sweeping, mopping floors; removing trash and other materials for recycling; dusting furniture or fixtures; polishing metal fixtures or trimmings; replenishing restroom supplies.

What You Will Do Clean and maintain restrooms, offices, break rooms, locker rooms, kitchenettes/pantries, showers, stairwells, corridors, elevators/escalators, and other work areas.

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture.

Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment; polish metalwork and fittings.

Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, door panels, and sills.

Empty wastebaskets, transport trash to disposal areas, and recycle materials appropriately.

Replenish restroom supplies as needed.

Follow all safety standards and proper use of cleaning equipment.

Maintain quality work and appropriate conduct in line with Didlake policies.

Complete and maintain all required Didlake training.

What You Bring You bring previous custodial or janitorial experience, knowledge of general cleaning products and equipment, and the ability to follow safety procedures. Dependability, teamwork, and the ability to work effectively with people with disabilities are essential.

Education & Experience High School diploma or GED, or

Minimum of 6 months of previous custodial or janitorial experience. Skills & Abilities A valid REAL ID is required to enter this worksite.

Possess the ability to pass a background check and maintain a clearance.
