Job Description

PAF Transportation is seeking an experienced LTL delivery driver for the Auburn Maine location. A large number of the stops utilize a rail gate trailer and an electric pallet jack. This position is home daily, has similar stops each day, works primarily a daytime shift with weekends off. We offer a modern, clean facility, modern equipment and competitive compensation package. Our drivers must be at least 21 years old. We are looking for applicants with a minimum of 1 year tractor/trailer experience. A CDL A with the HAZMAT endorsement is required to start and Tanker and doubles are preferred We are looking for drivers with a stable work record and strong work ethic to add to our exceptional team. Safe driving records (MVR as well as previous employers) are required for our employees. All drivers must pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen, FMCSA Clearinghouse and obtain a one-year DOT medical certificate at a Company approved medical provider. Responsibilities Safely operate a Straight truck or Tractor-trailer for daytime deliveries or night shuttles, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.- Utilize delivery driver experience to plan efficient routes and deliver goods on time. Maintain - Inspect and maintain vehicle and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members to coordinate delivery schedules.
