About the Position Phoenix Cleaning Services is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented cleaner to join our team. We provide professional cleaning services to commercial and residential clients and are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates reliably, and can work independently as well as part of a team. This is a part-time position. Hours may vary based on client contracts and scheduling needs, with the potential for additional hours as the company grows. Depending on client needs, some shifts may take place during evenings, nights, or weekends. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning and janitorial duties according to client and company standards. Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors. Clean and disinfect bathrooms, showers, sinks, toilets, and other high-touch surfaces. Clean kitchens, breakrooms, common areas, offices, and other assigned spaces. Empty trash and replace liners. Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and other assigned areas. Clean mirrors, glass, and fixtures. Restock paper products, soap, and other supplies as needed. Use cleaning products, tools, and equipment safely and appropriately. Follow site-specific cleaning checklists, safety procedures, and instructions. Identify and report maintenance, safety, supply, or cleaning concerns. Maintain professionalism, respect client property and privacy, and protect confidential information encountered at client locations. Complete assigned areas thoroughly before leaving the worksite. Qualifications and Expectations Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain regular attendance for scheduled shifts. Detail-oriented and able to recognize areas that need attention. Able to work independently without constant supervision and cooperatively with a team. Able to follow written and verbal instructions. Able to communicate reliably with supervisors and team members regarding scheduling and work assignments. Respectful of client property, privacy, and workplace rules. Previous professional cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred but not required. Training may be provided to the right candidate. Transportation and Worksite Requirements Reliable means of transportation to and from assigned job sites. Employees may be assigned to different client locations depending on business needs. When travel between client worksites is required during the workday, Phoenix Cleaning Services will handle compensable travel time in accordance with applicable wage-and-hour laws. Physical Requirements / Essential Functions The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Essential functions may include:

Prolonged standing and walking. Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, and repetitive movement. Pushing, pulling, and maneuvering standard cleaning equipment. Lifting and carrying cleaning supplies, trash bags, and equipment as required by assigned duties. Safely using standard cleaning products and equipment.

Compensation and Classification Pay:

$20.00 per hour. Part-time, hourly, non-exempt position. Overtime, when applicable, will be paid in accordance with federal and Maine wage-and-hour requirements.

Schedule:

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 7:30pm-9:30pm, Saturday 3:00pm-5:00pm, Sunday 12:00pm-2:00pm Why Work With Phoenix Cleaning Services?
